Welcome to the Chaos That Is My Brain (You’ve been warned)
Right then. Let’s get one thing out the way from the off - I’m not trying to sell you anything. There’s no hidden agenda here, no secret brand deal, and I’m definitely not one of those online gurus who reckons you can make six figures by breathing differently. I’m just a Merthyr boy, born in Merthyr and raised in Abercanaid with a head full of thoughts, ideas, and general nonsense that refuses to stay quiet.
This blog is basically me, shouting into the void. It’s not themed, curated, or market-tested. I’m not rich, not famous, and not trying to turn any of this into a business. I’m just a muppet with a keyboard who likes thinking about how things could be better, whether it’s the local area, the world at large, or just the queue system in Greggs.
Now, full disclosure: most of my best ideas usually come while I’m doing something completely unrelated, waddling around with the dogs, trying to fix something that isn’t broken, or listening to one of the kids explain Minecraft to me for the 47th time. And if I’m being honest, a lot of the real inspiration behind what I do comes from my amazing partner Zoe and our brilliant, bonkers family. Between her strength, wisdom and ability to tolerate me, and the wild, funny, curious kids we’re raising together, I’ve got no shortage of things to write about - or try and fix.
So that’s what this blog is: just me, sharing the inside of my brain. Some posts might be thoughtful, some might be daft, some might even make a bit of sense. But it all comes from the same place - me trying to make sense of life, ask questions out loud, and maybe, just maybe, make something better for someone else along the way.
If you fancy sticking around, grab a cuppa (or something stronger), and settle in. There’s no structure here, no schedule, and no plan - but there is heart. And a lot of love for the life I’ve been lucky enough to build with Zoe and the kids.
Welcome to the madness. Let’s see where it goes.
